When a pet dies, you lose a friend and companion, a part of your family.  We understand that this can be one of the most difficult times in your life.  The decision to leave your pet behind at the veterinarian's office, or to take it home for burial in your yard, may not be the right decision for you.  With that in mind we offer sensitive options for pet owners.  Our affiliation with an off-site, exclusive, pet crematory, assures your pet a private cremation.  Here is how we can help you:

• We will pick up and transport your pet to our facility.
• If you choose cremation, we give you a certificate of private cremation.
• You can reach us any time, day or night, and a Pet Service Counselor is available 24 hours a day.
• You and your pet will be treated with dignity and respect.
• A wide range of urns, markers, memorials, and pet caskets are available for you to choose from.

Andrew T. Scheid knows that Seeing Eye Dogs, Hearing Dogs and K9 Dogs have served their owners and country with special dignity, therefore they are given a cremation at NO CHARGE.

   
Andrew T. Scheid serves two local Pet Cemeteries in Lancaster County.  They are the Lancaster Pet Cemetery in Lancaster located across from the Conestoga Memorial Park and the Pet Section located in the Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens in Columbia.  Pet burials in backyards are done subject to municipal laws.

Pricing: Our pricing is based upon many different possibilities that are taken into consideration when a service has been selected. This includes but not limited to, the size of the pet, travel and type of service that you request.
 
PLEASE NOTE:  ALL pet arrangements are handled at our off-site premises, NOT the Funeral Home. Arrangements can be made at our funeral home or your residence.
