Pre-Planning

  Pre-planning is a way for you to be able to discuss your wishes with Andy, Tom or Mario.  During this conference, whether it is at your home or our facility, we will discuss what needs or wishes you have and we will help you to decide on what options and services best suit you.  We will listen to your concerns, opinions, and wants to guide you in the right direction to pick and choose the right funeral for you.

  There are several advantages to pre-planning.  To begin with, your wishes are known to both your funeral director and your loved ones.  It helps to alleviate the stress and burdens at the time of your passing.  It allows you to select your services and merchandise right down to the hymns and obituary information.  It is also a way to guarantee the cost of your services and merchandise at today's cost.  If you chose to pre-pay your funeral, the fund are trusted 100% in an account on your behalf until the time of your death. The Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home has ALL pre-payment monies made payable to the insurance company or bank.

  There are a few options when it comes to pre-planning. The first step you can take when it comes to pre-planning is to give us, your funeral directors, your vital information that is needed for your obituary and death certificates.  To go beyond the first step, you may continue further to select your services and merchandise.  Merchandise meaning casket, urn, outer burial container, paper goods, and even burial clothing.  Pre-planning with Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home can be as basic as those two steps or you can chose to fund your arrangements in advance through pre-payment.

  Our pre-arrangements which are pre-funded are done through Homesteaders Life Company, Forthought Financial Group, Inc., Loyal Christian Benefit Association or a local bank of your choice.  These funds are set aside 100% in a Burial Reserve solely in your name until your time of death. All pre-payment checks are made to the bank or insurance company.

  Many people do not know, but any pre-arrangements you may have made at any other funeral home can be transferred to the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home without any hassle or difficulty.  We will accept any pre-arrangements from other funeral homes, and will help guide you  through the transfer process. The plans will be honored guaranteed as in the original plan. We accept all plans. The Andrew T.
